Appalachian Culture Club is a curated collection of vintage handmade quilts from eastern Kentucky and the surrounding region. Sourced over the past several decades, each is a unique, handcrafted treasure as beautiful hanging on a wall as tucked into a bed. Our mission is for every home to have a quilt and we’re here to help you find the perfect one for yours.
ACC quilts explained
-
Our quilts are one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, and while we provide detailed dimensions and suggested bed sizes, their handmade nature means they may not always align.
-
Each quilt is labeled with general weight, and either Soft or Crisp. Crisp quilts tend to be heavier with more structure, while Soft quilts are often older, more delicate, and have a worn-in, cozy feel.
-
Most of our quilts are sourced from individual makers in Kentucky—especially Whitesburg—though we also find special pieces in California and thoughtfully curate standout craftsmanship from across the United States.
-
Appalachian Culture Club is a curated collection of vintage handmade quilts sourced by its founder, Anna Richardson White, over the past several decades. Each a unique, handcrafted treasure from eastern Kentucky - where Anna was born and raised - or the surrounding Appalachian region. Anna created Appalachian Culture Club to share her mountain heritage and the beauty and function of an organic hand stitched heirloom with people outside the region. Anna sources quilts that are as beautiful hanging on a wall as tucked into a bed. Her mission is for every home to have a quilt and she’s eager to help you find the perfect one for yours.
