This quilt is one of the most handsome patterns I’ve seen. After years of use, most of the throwing stars were disintegrating but for a couple. I used one to make this foot stool. It is placed with padding on top of a cane stool I found at the Mountain Masters crafts show in Harlan, Kentucky. So this is an Appalachian piece through and through.
